About the S 789 E3
The Lukas S 789 E3 is the mid-range model in the LUKAS e³ cutter line. With a cutting force of 1,100 kN and a round-steel capacity of 42 mm, it tackles high-strength and advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) found in modern vehicle construction. The 205 mm blade opening gives the rescuer excellent clearance, while the Shark-Tooth Tips prevent slippage on coated or coil-spring material.
At 21.9 kg it is heavier than the S 378 but still one-person deployable, with the e³ battery mounted directly on the tool. The smart dashboard shows charge level, pressure, temperature and roll warnings at a glance. Turbo mode is activated by fully engaging the Star Grip. IP 58 rated for deep-water rescue.
