Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a smooth bore and a fog nozzle?

A smooth bore (solid stream) nozzle produces a compact, high-reach jet ideal for structural firefighting and penetrating deep into burning material. A fog nozzle breaks the water into droplets for wider coverage, better heat absorption and compartment cooling.

What AWG nozzle is recommended for a 65mm line?

The AWG BM-65 branch pipe is designed for 65mm hose lines and delivers a powerful solid stream or adjustable pattern depending on the model selected.

Are AWG nozzles compatible with DIN fittings?

Yes — AWG supplies nozzles and fittings to DIN 14365 and other international standards. Adaptors are available for non-standard hose couplings.

Equip an entire fire fleet?

We supply AWG nozzles, monitors and fittings in volume. Specify by coupling type, flow rate or EN 15182 performance class. Contact us for bulk pricing and technical data sheets.
